Warm Homes - Clean Air Project

What is the Warm Homes/Clean Air project?
The Warm Homes/Clean Air project is a collaborative effort between a number of public organizations to bring funding resources to residents of the Oakridge/Westfir community. The project has been developed to match residents with funding programs that help with the costs of home repairs and heating system upgrades. Through this coordinated effort between the various local organizations participating in this program, the organizers work together to bring the citizens a tailored set of options designed specifically for them. And, while each entity has its own mission and overall goals, all are compatible with this "Warm Homes/Clean Air" project.

While many of the available programs are specifically designed to assist low-income residents, some programs are available to everyone, including homeowners, mobile home owners, renters or landlords.

What is the goal of the project?
The goal of this project is to bring the information to citizens in one simple package, eliminating the need for residents to search for available funding programs. The program provides help with home repair, weatherization, assistance with heating bills, and upgrading heating systems. Some examples of the types of work available through this program include:

Duct sealing
Thermal windows
General weatherization
Roof repairs
Storm doors
Electrical system upgrades
Oil, propane, electric and wood heat system upgrades.
