Rosters And Contact Lists: Board Of Directors
The LRAPA Board of Directors is a nine-member board which meets monthly to establish policy and adopt agency regulations. Board members are appointed by their respective city councils and the Lane County Board of Commissioners. Membership in 2008 includes: four representatives from the city of Eugene, one each from Lane County and the city of Springfield; one from either the city of Cottage Grove or city of Oakridge; and two at-large members, one a resident of an area of the county outside the city limits of any of the partner cities and the other a resident of Springfield. At-large members are appointed by the LRAPA board, itself. A city with more than one member must have one elected official from its governing body but may appoint the rest of its members from the general public within its jurisdiction.
The LRAPA Board of Directors for 2008 includes:
- David Monk - Chair, Eugene (Eugene City Council appointee)
- Bill Carpenter - Vice-Chair, Springfield (board appointee)
- Glenn Fortune - At-Large, General (city councilor) (board appointee)
- Drew Johnson - Eugene (Eugene City Council appointee)
- Kit Kirkpatrick - Eugene (Eugene City Council appointee)
- Andrea Ortiz - Eugene (city councilor)
- Pat Patterson - Cottage Grove (city councilor)
- Dave Ralston - Springfield (city councilor)
- Faye Stewart - Lane County (county commissioner)
